Youth Forum on Sustainability: Professional Development
Teacher workshops were offered before, during, and between each Youth Forum conference. The aim was to ensure that teachers have both theoretical insights and practical skills needed to facilitate Action Projects, such as SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) and “Force-field” analysis, and a feel for the kinds of projects that have happened in the past.
Other PD Events included a Regina Board PD Day on March 4, 2005, and a rally for participating teachers at Craik Eco-Centre on March 10, 2005.
