Research Interests
I am fascinated by the structure and behaviour of any organism or living system, from individual cells to the global ecosystem. I am especially interested in the ability of these entities to withstand stress and recover from disturbance. My studies focus on the ecology and conservation of prairie songbirds, pesticide impacts in agricultural and urban settings, and sustainability education at the individual and community level.

Teaching
I enjoy teaching because of the light of understanding it generates, both for me and my students. I have been pursuing my teaching interests by offering Human Geography (Geog 220) and Sustainable Development (Geog 496 AD) through the University of Regina Geography Department.
