How many butterflies are there in the Life Sciences Gallery Monarch Exhibit?
There are exactly 6742 monarchs in this display, made by exhibits staff and 12 museum volunteers. The process was labour intensive and meticulous – the exhibit took approximately eight months and about 4000 work hours to complete! Click here to find out how the Monarch exhibit was built.
