#GivingTuesday is next week, November 29th, and in the lead-up, we have been featuring a new “Friend” of the Museum each week. This final instalment of our “Friend Friday” series features local group Nature Regina.

Formerly known as the Regina Natural History Society, Nature Regina has been active in the community for over 80 years, and have held almost all of their meetings at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. Nature Regina members are also very active with the RSM. “We recall fondly the many events held at the RSM, from our monthly meetings to book launches, exhibit openings, and talks by visiting scholars,” says current President Gary Seib. “We also enjoy working with the RSM on the Native Species Garden Project, and being part of the research projects such as the Wascana Turtle study.” Nature Regina encourages others to become Friends of the Museum, as it is “…a great educational opportunity. Becoming a Friend will ensure that this facility and its programs will continue for generations to come.”

Support the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, and the many initiatives at the RSM, with a gift to our #GivingTuesday campaign.
