Pre-K & K

Developed specifically for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children aged 4 to 6 years, these programs explore themes through story, hands-on specimens and explore stations. Most programs take place in the classroom area of the Paleo Pit and the whole class (maximum 25 students) is kept together. You are encouraged to book time to play in the Paleo Pit and/or visit the galleries with your students at the conclusion of the program.

N O T E

If your ratio of chaperones to students exceeds 1:5 it will impact the program, as space is limited. Please inform us of any “family day” requirements.

Our pre-K and K programs are not designed for daycares, or children under 4 years. Daycares are welcome to visit our galleries on their own. Please give us a call at 306-787-2815 to let us know you are coming and reserve a class set of binoculars for your daycare visit.  The Paleo Pit is available to groups on a pre-booked basis for up to one hour time blocks. Please contact education@royalsaskmuseum.ca to book. Subject to availability. We will respond within 2 business days.
