We offer educational programs for Kindergarten to Grade 12 students in the area of palaeontology. Programs are interactive, include hands-on activities and a visit to the galleries. Available in May and June.
While admission is free, we ask each class to make a voluntary donation of $2 per student to the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. All donations go to support programs, exhibits and services. Invoicing is also available through our gift shop, please call 306-757-5951 for more information.
Donations to the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum can now be made through CanadaHelps.org.
Program Length and Availability
Each program is usually 30 minutes in length and are available Mondays through Fridays in May and June. Please email for more information.
Museum interpreters lead each of the programs. Large classes are divided into groups of approximately 15 students, enabling us to keep the interpreter to student ratios to 1:15. Groups should bring one adult for every 15 students so that a chaperone can accompany each group.
The Discovery Shop is open during school visits. Students are welcome in the shop if they are accompanied by an adult.
