National Canadian Film Day 150 is a massive one-day, coast-to-coast celebration of Canadian cinema in honour of our nation’s sesquicentennial. To join in on the excitment we are screening Bugs on the Menu in our theatre. Directed by Ian Toews, Bugs on the Menu is about the two billion people who eat bugs as a part of their regular diets. The trend is catching on. Insect eating might seem bizarre to some, but for billions of folks, chowing down on buggy delights is a totally normal practice.
